Q. I've already got my own website. What can goDumfries do that my website can't? A. goDumfries is guaranteed to drive more traffic to our website.
Visitors searching here for local products and services. Your ad will link straight through to your own website. goDumfries works particularly well with search engines such as Google because each of our categories are formulated as separate entities. 
Q. There are loads of directory websites available. Why should I choose goDumfries? A. Yes, there are websites popping up all over the place. Mostly these are owned by national companies. They have a boring 'phone book' look and feel to them and don't have the scope or choices to tailor your ad exactly as you want it.
There are a few other sites which are run by franchisees offering a little more than the national sites, but these too have to work within a pre-determined format and just haven't the product range to rival goDumfries.
Q. Nothing's ever simple. What will I be charged for photographs, copy, graphics etc etc? A. Not a bean! We will prepare everything you need for your ad at no extra charge.
Q. What if I want changes to my ad every couple of months. A. No problem. We will do minor changes whenever you need them. Major changes, such as a full menu or product price-list,  may incur a small charge, but this would be agreed with you in advance of taking out your ad.
Q. I haven't got a website. What are the alternatives on goDumfries? A. A Gold ad is like having a full website. You can display up to 30 images in a choice of formats with as much written information as you need. For £250 a year or £25 per month the Gold ad cannot be beaten for value for money.
Q. I'm a busy person. Doesn't something like this take a long time to set up? A.  It's surprisingly quick and easy. We'll help you choose the best ad for your business (no goDumfries representative will ever try to pressurise you into something you don't need), - then we'll get on with compiling your ad with as little disturbance as possible. Normally, ads such as Bronze and Silver can be completed without troubling you at all.
Q. This all looks a bit confusing. How do I decide what I need with all these choices? A. Samples of all our ads are clearly set out in our 'Advertise Here section. We are happy to come along to your premises with a, NO obligation, presentation of our ads and talk over the best option for you. If you decide to go ahead, we will compile your ad for your approval before you pay a penny.
Q. It seems a bit cheap. Does it really work? A. A lot of web directory companies are in for the quick kill before the market becomes totally swamped with rivals. goDumfries is a quality site and here for the long haul. We are building our business slowly and with care.
